Course summary

This course deals with Contract Administration of a generic construction project rather than examining a specific project, procurement model, or a specific form of Contract.The focus of the course is on administration of a Contract during the construction phase, so does not address the tender phase. The course is presented from the perspective of a Contract Administrator employed by a Contractor where the Principal is the manager and designer, but it is also relevant to a Contract Administrator employed by the Principal or a Subcontractor. Legal aspects have been largely avoided except where principles demand particular legal insights. It is assumed that legal advice would be sought, when required.

During this training, there will be several group sessions during which participants will discuss and answer questions posed in relation to various scenarios.
