Cumming Group

Data Center Team

Largest independent owners representative in the US, supported a major Data Center client in their move to drive efficiency in reducing cost, time, implementing sustainability measures for their next generation of Data Centers. From an iterative approach by our Data Center Team; led by a fellow of the RICS Colin Scott FRICS and their scheduling lead Tom Vanelli, the team collaborated with the Owner, design teams and contractors, and time to construct was reduced more than half previous designs and cost savings were substantially achieved for the next generation to support the move to AI computing.

Oónagh-Marie Micklethwaite MRICS, Turton Bond

Oónagh-Marie has almost 5 years of experience in the UK and US, consistently demonstrating exceptional professionalism, innovative approaches, and dedication to achieving outstanding results. Her rapid rise to Senior Cost Manager within a year of joining Turton Bond in NYC further highlights her exceptional abilities. Beyond her core cost management role, Oónagh-Marie champions diversity and inclusion initiatives. As head of Turton Bond’s Women in Construction and DE&I committee, she has organized many successful events, implemented new recruitment strategies, and successfully exceeded internal 2 of 5 diversity targets. Oónagh-Marie’s work extends to an internal apprentice program for low-income areas, promoting opportunities within the industry.

Initially catering to the fervent New York corporate real estate construction industry, Turton Bond continues to grow exponentially, both on a staff count basis and geographically, with a precise aim of improving the current industry standard project & cost management services, whilst offering a myriad of additional services across various sectors globally.

LOGAN HQ, Bogota

The work completed for LatAM Logistic Properties (LLP) in 2023, undertaken by LOGAN across Costa Rica, Colombia, and Peru, aimed to assess LLP´s regional portfolio ahead of the firm´s IPO in the New York Stock Exchange, expected in 2024. Deliverables included retrospective valuations, risk sensitivity analyses, and market studies. Upholding rigorous ethical standards, the project adhered to the guidelines of the Appraisal Institute, IVS, RICS, and IFRS, ensuring transparent and reliable information, and was audited by Ernst & Young. With a focus on professionalism and regional expertise, the work performed by LOGAN exemplifies dedication to excellence and ethical integrity.

Peoria Development Project

Randal Dawson and a team of consultants guided the transformation of the 61605 neighborhood with strategic redevelopment insights tailored to Peoria’s unique economic and social landscape. He and the team conducted in-depth feasibility studies on the market and valuation of the site for the redevelopment. They crafted detailed financial models to ensure proposed Peoria projects are economically viable. Throughout the project, Randal and his team remained deeply connected with local residents and stakeholders to ensure that the redevelopment of the area would make a lasting impact and serve as a model for similar projects in the future.

Individual Award Shortlist

Marius has worked as a project professional for 8 years. Marius is currently part of a government to government portfolio of works, supporting the construction of schools and hospitals, across Peru. He has consistently strived to be part of the sustainability centric built environment we are all aiming to create, holding accredited professional status with the US Green Building Council. Marius has used his knowledge and expertise to organise and moderate a number of public events, exploring the roles of technology and sustainability in our industry, equipping likeminded professionals in delivering an innovative and proactive real estate community.

Smita is an AI governance expert who is helping shape industry standards on AI governance. As Senior Counsel at Autodesk she acts as the chief legal support for the Machine Learning Steward and VP of AI platform and helps shape generative AI governance by driving innovation while managing risk.

Smita previously worked as a Hardware Product Counsel at Apple supporting Machine Learning. She sits on the AI Policy Committee of the IEEE USA and the Standards Committee for the Institute of Operational Privacy Design influencing AI policy at an international level. She was recognized as a Global Fellow by AI2030.
