Join us for the next free member session in Dubai where we have a full and diverse programme for your CPD member session. Aside of gaining 2 hours of formal CPD, this will also be a great opportunity to catch up with other UAE based professionals, ahead of the summer.

Firstly, there will be an update on RICS activities in UAE. Then, Regional Director of AtkinsRéalis, David Clifton will provide an overview of the UAE Economic, Development & Construction Market Fundamentals. He will look at the overall UAE performance across macro data and apply sensitivity analysis on the future forecast trends for growth in: the economy, FDI, development market growth and the opportunities and challenges that are present at a local level.

Finally, the session will also provide plenty of opportunities to network with fellow professionals operating in Dubai over a 1 hour networking reception with canapes and beverages.

David is Regional Director, Middle East & Africa, at AtkinsRéalis Group. As part of his role, he focuses on developing the company’s program advisory services with existing and new key clients. With over 20 years’ experience, he has covered major programme delivery across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. He has a strong knowledge of the regional economy and the drivers affecting it and has led many initiatives and projects in the programme management and economic space, including Advisor to the Ministry of Planning and Economy on the Saudi Vision 2030 law change regarding PMO implementation, mergers and acquisition advisory to sovereign wealth funds (SWF’s) and economic forecasting to SWF’s, major multinationals and regional governments. Having worked across EMEA in primarily client facing roles, he has been involved in some of the most iconic schemes in the world. From Royal Atlantis to Riyadh Metro, Abu Dhabi Airport, Doha Metro, Muscat and Salalah Airports and the development and deployment of PMO’s for government sector clients in Saudi Arabia. As an advisor to a suite of government and private sector clients, he has established a strong reputation and significant credibility in the area of programme management, financing, feasibility, economic forecasting and risk protection.
