JLL Launches AI Platform

JLL has a platform called “falcon”, a suite of software services powered by AI aimed at transforming the CRE sector. Building on JLL GPT, its combes JLLs data with advanced generative models, it provides capabilities like insights and digital assistants to help improve efficiency and reduce costs. "We've had great success putting game-changing AI capabilities into the hands of our CRE professionals, to augment and amplify their unmatched expertise," said Yao Morin, JLL's Chief Technology Officer.

KUGO Secures €8.5M Investment

German based Kugo has raised €8.5M in Series A funding. The capital will be used to develop KUGU’s digital product portfolio as well as scaling sales and operations. Currently managing over 12,000 buildings, KUGU’s platform enables real estate companies to meet emissions targets through energy optimization, with costs fully allocatable to tenants.

iDWELL Raises €10 Million to Enhance Smart Property Management Solution

Vienna-based iDWELL has raised €10 million in a funding round led by Knight Capital. With continued support from previous investors like Flashpoint Venture Capital and Wecken & Cie, iDWELL plans to accelerate growth, enhance its AI-driven property management solutions, and expand its offerings in financial and insurance services.  Founded in 2017, iDWELL provides a smart property management platform that serves over 750 property management companies across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, supporting more than 1.5 million residential units.

Builtdots Releases AI-Powered Assistant for Site Managers

Buildots has launched Dot, an AI assistant designed to answer project status queries. Powered by OpenAI’s latest GPT models, Dot provides site managers with instant, actionable insights by cross-referencing multiple data points. Users can ask questions in natural language about project progress, task completions, and specific updates.  “There is real value and potential in the use of Dot. I can see more members across our project teams, including our senior executives, engaging further and getting value from this new functionality in their day-to-day adoption and enhancing business insights that it will potentially bring.”

NBS Report Highlights Decline in Construction Sustainability

A new report by NBS reveals that only 40% of construction projects achieve their sustainability goals which is a decline since 2014. While 90% of professionals have worked on projects with sustainability targets, only 16% consistently include them. The ‘Sustainable Futures’ report calls for greater collaboration, better goal-setting, and more digital information on sustainable products to improve outcomes and address climate change challenges.
