Overview
Most buildings are designed to allow for some movement over their lifetime. Some cracks found in brick or concrete walls may look significant but turn out to be harmless while other cracks may develop over time to become a major time consuming and expensive problem.
The spectrum of cracking severity makes it difficult for building surveyors to assess damage when conducting a building survey. How can we distinguish between a structural problem and a minor aesthetic issue? How can we offer our clients advice on the potential causes and remedies?
This webinar will explain which cracks are surfaced and which ones are a structural concern. We will look at the five kinds of cracks identified and offer advice to remedy these.
