RICS and ICAEW in the Midlands - A view of the construction sector

1.0 Hours Formal CPD

Online

Overview

Join us for an interactive panel discussion with experts in the construction industry.

The construction sector plays a major role in the overall economy in the Midlands, but its performance has been mixed during 2024 to-date. Whilst several significant new projects have commenced in Birmingham and Coventry, with more set to start during the rest of this year, the sector has faced a range of challenges to overcome – from labour shortages and input price inflation to broader economic conditions and constraints. This has made the outlook for the industry and the region more difficult to predict.

The ICAEW and RICS Midlands are hosting a joint seminar, bringing together several leading industry experts who will share their views on the current state of the sector and exchange thoughts and insights on what the future may hold and ideas on how to successfully navigate it.
