RICS in Norwich: Lunchtime Lectures - The Building Safety Act

Overview

The Building Safety Act creates new roles and assigns additional duties and responsibilities to professionals involved in all aspects of construction.

The Act and its secondary legislation was drafted and went live very quickly, with the result that the professions involved have struggled to stay ahead of the obligations being imposed.

As a consequence, most guidance and training published to date has focussed on the most urgent and higher risk aspects of the Act and its obligations.  It can be difficult to find guidance on the wider general provisions that affect all of us professions, even if we live and work in a (mostly) low rise city Like Norwich.
