The Assigned Risks Pool Panel (ARPP) is a permanent panel established by the Standards and Regulation Board (SRB). The remit of its role and responsibilities are set out in its Terms of Reference, which are approved by SRB. The ARPP advises and make decisions in accordance with the Rules and Procedure for Admission to the Assigned Risks Pool, see here. It comprises of RICS members, ARP manager and listed insurers.

As a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer, Warren Wright has 45 years experience of the UK residential property sector. For over 30 years, he worked for a major UK national organisation and as Technical Services Director was responsible for a team providing technical and professional guidance and advice to a team of over 300 employed surveyors and approximately 100 panel firms and also provided support and advice to many residential lender clients. Warren has also held responsibility for risk management, audit and quality control and has first hand experience of the PI market ranging from arranging cover for a surveying start-up through to managing the annual renewal for a major corporate organisation. Warren has been an active member of the RICS for many years, having sat on the Residential Survey & Valuation Professional Group and participated in a number of working groups including the Professional Indemnity Insurance Guidance (Risk and Reward) Group, the Home Survey Group and, during the Covid crisis, the Material Uncertainty Clause Review group. He was also a member of the Residential Cross Sector Group formed after the review by Dr Oonagh MacDonald and was previously an active member of the Building Society Association Property Risk Panel. He has been Chair of the Assigned Risks Pool Panel since November 2023.
