You are looking at enrolling onto the Senior Professional Assessment route to RICS Membership, the requirements are a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience (5+ years if you have a postgraduate degree) and ability to demonstrate advanced responsibilities as a senior leader.

To complete your application onto the Senior Professional Assessment, you will need the following:

  • A copy of your qualification certificate, if applicable.
  • Senior professional CV template, you can locate the template here.
  • Your 400-word statement should be prepared in advance and uploaded as part of your enrolment.
  • A copy of your organisation chart, this needs to visually convey your company’s internal structure.
  • Your counsellor’s membership number or registered email address – click here for further details on the Counsellor role. If you don’t have these details, you can notify us of your Counsellor up to 10 working days after your application to enrol.


This application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

After applying your application will progress through a vetting stage. If successful you will need to pay the enrolment fees to complete your application, details of the fees are available here.

The enrolment fee covers your candidate registration, professionalism module and final assessment.

Please note

  • When enrolment takes place before 1 October you will pay the current year’s subscription in full and you will then be required to pay the following year’s subscription when this becomes due on 1 January.
  • When enrolment takes place after 1 October your subscription fee will cover the period from October to December of the current year and all of the following year.
  • If you are based in Ireland, you will need to gain your professional qualification through SCSI. Once you have obtained this qualification, you may be eligible to apply for RICS membership through the Direct Entry route.
