What is the Homeowner Adjudication service?

This service is tailored for cases where construction work has been carried out under the JCT Building Contract for a Homeowner/Occupier. The process is designed to resolve disputes efficiently, typically within 21 days, through the appointment of an expert adjudicator by RICS.
When does Construction Act adjudication apply?
The Construction Act adjudication process does not automatically apply to residential contracts unless both parties agree. This bespoke adjudication service is not governed by the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, making it specifically suited for homeowners and builders operating under the JCT contract.
