The successful teams and individuals of this year’s Awards were announced and celebrated at a formal cocktail ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Auckland on 22 August 2024. All entries demonstrate industry leading achievements and show the highest standards of professionalism across the built environment in New Zealand.
It was also our honour to announce Andrew Buckingham MRICS, as the recipient of the most prestigious award for built environment professionals, the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Andrew is an accomplished multi-disciplined property professional who has dedicated nearly four decades to the commercial property profession across New Zealand and Australia. He is a seasoned senior executive whose name has become synonymous with excellence in leading teams in the development and delivery of large -scale commercial projects such as Sylvia Park, ASB North Wharf, Wynyard Central and Commercial Bay in Auckland as well as the Bowen Campus in Wellington. Since February 2022, Andrew Buckingham has been the Chief Property Officer at Oceania Healthcare.
A Chartered Member of RICS since 2004, Andrew is a proud ambassador of the institution and has contributed to the driving force behind growth in New Zealand.
As Chair of the Australasian Board and a member of the NZ Member Engagement Group he has been a steadfast advocate for the region, and has contributed to numerous local events including hosting the launch of Matrics in NZ, sharing insights on market outlook panels, and lending his expertise at RICS events.
