The winners will be revealed at the official cocktail ceremony to be held at Hilton Hotel, Quay St, Auckland on Thursday 17 August.
We are delighted to confirm the Winners of RICS New Zealand Awards 2023.
The successful teams and individuals of this year’s Awards were announced and celebrated at a formal cocktail ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in Auckland on 17 August 2023.
All entries demonstrate industry leading achievements and show the highest standards of professionalism across the built environment in New Zealand.
It was also our honour to announce Mark Synnott FRICS, as the recipient of the most prestigious award for built environment professionals, the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Mark joined Colliers International in 1989, when the company was first established in New Zealand. He assisted in establishing the leasing and agency side of the business in Auckland.
In 1994 Mark was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Colliers in New Zealand. Since then, he has grown the Colliers team in New Zealand from 75 to nearly 750 staff.
Mark completed a successful tenure as CEO in April 2023 and moved to the position of Executive Chairman, which involves assisting Colliers New Zealand CEO Gareth Fraser with strategic planning, growth through acquisitions, building relationships with key clients, and recruitment and retention of senior personnel.
Mark has been instrumental in expanding the company’s geographic reach throughout New Zealand and establishing new service lines, including a nationwide Rural & Agribusiness capability and the acquisition of leading project management firm Greenstone Group.
He remains active in securing new and repeat business for the agency.
