Cold liquid applied waterproofing and protection systems have enjoyed significant growth in recent years. From our position as European market leaders, and with over 40 years’ experience, Triflex has developed a robust testing strategy which supports design teams and specifiers to determine the best solutions to waterproofing failures within the roofing and structural waterproofing industry. This CPD seminar looks at the problems commonly associated with failing waterproofing systems and also focuses on the testing processes used to identify the correct solutions to these problems.
We aim to give attendees an insight into why testing is highly beneficial when providing solutions to ongoing water ingress issues. It also looks at how the information collected during testing allows those involved in the design process to better understand the current condition of a failing waterproofing system, and the action required to remedy the problems and improve performance characteristics.

Andrew has worked for specialist roofing and waterproofing system manufacturers for almost 20 years. Having introduced the Triflex brand into the Irish construction and refurbishment markets, he currently works as NI & RoI’s Business Development Manager and Field technician. He utilises the experience gained in both roles to help design teams, as well as Triflex’s authorised contractors, to provide market leading solutions to the most complex of waterproofing scenarios.
