She is a chartered surveyor and registered Valuer with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), licensed valuer and estate agent with the Valuers Registration Board and Estate Agents Registration Board of Kenya respectively, a member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya, Project Management Institute, Women in Real Estate, and has been gazetted by the Government as a stamp duty valuer in private practice. Mercy holds an MSc. in real estate from the UK, and a bachelor’s degree in land economics from the University of Nairobi.
