Paul is head of property standards at RICS, where he has worked for more than 14 years. His specialisms include corporate real estate, public-sector property, facilities management, commercial service charges, property management and property auctioneering.

Mairéad is a senior specialist at RICS and leads work relating to property agency and management, including the development of an overarching code for property agents and a block management code for managing agents. She represents RICS on a number of groups, including the Technical Support Group to the Commonhold Council, the industry-wide Home Buying and Selling Group, and the Construction Industry Council’s Housing Panel. She is also a board member for Innisfree Housing Association in London, where she sits on both the Development and Renumeration and the Nominations Committees.

Nicola is an experienced commercial property manager, currently working on the regional portfolio at the Crown Estate. During her career she has won the Asset and Facilities Management category of the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year and the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) Alumni Award, as well as being elected an Associate Fellow of UCEM. Formerly working at CBRE, Nicola was instrumental in running the company’s All Greens Committee. She is also keen to encourage the next generation of surveyors; having previously been chair of RICS Matrics London and elected to the RICS Matrics UK Board, she now focuses on mentoring.

Rachel is a partner in the real-estate group at solicitors Herrington Carmichael. She has more than 20 years' experience in all aspects of high-value commercial property work, particularly in supporting corporations, in acquisition, letting and disposal of investment properties, and in all landlord and tenant matters. Rachel also has experience of dealing with complex option agreements, easements and other property development matters.

Jonathan is a senior specialist in valuation and investment advice in the global valuation team at RICS, where he has worked since 2021. Previously, he was director of UAE Valuation for Cluttons Middle East, based in Dubai, and director of investment, Knight Frank Prague. Jonathan is an RICS-registered valuer and expert witness, with 25 years’ experience in investment brokerage, valuation and development consultancy.

Charles is a senior specialist in valuation and investment advisory at RICS. He covers commercial property valuation, including RICS Valuation – Global Standards (Red Book Global Standards). He specialises in environmental, social and governance issues and sustainability, discounted cash flow, and the valuation of operational property such as hotels and flexible workspace.

Kevin is one of the most experienced proptech developers in the UK, having worked in the sector for more than 30 years. He is currently director of software innovation and engineering at Trace Solutions, a property management software supplier. In recent years, his team has masterminded the company’s digital transformation with the Mojo process-based web apps.

Katie is a senior development manager at the LLDC. She is experienced in both asset and property management as well as residential development, with more than ten years’ experience in a variety of organisations including consultancies, estate agents, small local businesses and global property companies. Katie is also a member of the Property Institute.

Steve is a senior specialist at RICS and leads work relating to residential surveys and property standards, including the Home survey standard and Residential retrofit standard. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the UK residential surveying sector, both in small practice and larger corporate surveying firms. Steve regularly contributes to expert working groups informing the development of RICS standards and information papers, and reviews government proposals for the retrofit and energy sectors. He is also a LionHeart mental health ambassador.

Antony is head of residential block management at JLL. Formerly a senior specialist in property standards at RICS, he is a chartered surveyor and registered valuer with experience in a variety of property sectors, including block management, home surveys and valuation. At RICS, Antony was responsible for a portfolio including the Home Survey Standard and Service charge residential management code. He is also a professional member of the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

Nigel is a senior specialist in land and property standards at RICS, where he has worked in the standards team since 2015. Previously, he was a manager at Drivers Jonas Deloitte, and a chair of the RICS Matrics UK board.

Kelly is a national valuation specialist at the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) and winner of the valuation category at the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year Awards 2022. She leads a team of nine surveyors at the VOA and specialises in public-sector valuations and valuations for taxation purposes. In addition, Kelly is an APC assessor, counsellor and supervisor who has dedicated many hours as an educator and mentor to supporting graduates and helping students into the surveying profession.

Paul is real-estate disputes partner at Hogan Lovells. He specialises in development disputes, rights of light, and securing possession of large sites.
