In addition, valuations have included, Tipperary Station, Northern Territory, which is an aggregation of 1 million hectares.

Altus Group contributed to the successful delivery of the Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology (BEST) Hub, an ambitious project that transformed the Blacktown International Sportspark into Australia’s most innovative and integrated sports, health and education precinct.

Wael Shehata and his Quantity Surveying team are nominated for the Quantity Surveying Team of the Year for their outstanding performance on Project EnergyConnect, a pioneering AUD$2 billion energy infrastructure project.

They not only managed the project’s extensive resources but also developed a bespoke system tailored specifically for this initiative, redefining procurement and contract management efficiency. Their innovative strategies minimised fiscal risks, ensuring the project stayed within budget and on schedule.

Brisbane Airport Terminal 3 Precinct Program – Delivery Model, Packaging and Procurement Strategy Project Team / Arcadis

Arcadis’ Cost and Commercial Management (CCM) Team brings a game-changing approach to Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) for the Terminal 3 Precinct development. Surpassing the typical quantity surveyors (QS) roles in Australia, their unparalleled market knowledge and strategic procurement advice catapult them to the forefront of their field.

With a deep understanding of market dynamics, the team’s solutions were fit-for-purpose and forward-thinking. Their commitment to delivering innovative and future-proof solutions solidifies their position as a trusted partner in navigating complex airport development projects.

H-DAC – Optimisation

The Government client for this initiative had placed emphasis on finding and implementing energy-saving measures to meet its ambitious goal of reducing emissions by 43% by 2030.

It was identified that HVAC-R systems consumed a massive 50-60% of the estates energy consumption. BGIS partnered with Cresstec to establish a World first trial of the HDAC product on a Package Air-Conditioning Unit.

The results were outstanding.
•average annual energy savings of 40.05%
•20.18-ton CO2 reduction
•System refrigerant leakage reduced from average 10% to under 1%.
•System life increased in proportion to the electrical savings.
•1.8-year payback (R.O.I) to the client.

CBRE has had a long-standing relationship with ISPT. Our partnership is rooted in the concept on innovation. Innovation Day was created to improve and succeed in new ways by seeking feedback and evaluating our current working model. We wanted to collaborate with contractors to explore innovative ideas in technology, processes, and systems for our buildings. By partnering with contractors, we aimed to enhance our day-to-day responsibilities and shape a better future environment.

The focus was on finding as many ideas as possible to meet ISPT’s needs, those of their tenants, and make meaningful steps towards ESG targets.

CBRE partnered with Rest Super to redefine their office spaces in Sydney and Brisbane, aligning with Rest’s evolving working policy and growth targets. The collaboration integrated multiple CBRE units, conducting comprehensive assessments and financial modelling to secure tenant-favourable solutions.

Notably, in Sydney, CBRE identified benefits in consolidating offices, while in Brisbane, they navigated market uncertainties and negotiated expansion rights. Innovative technology solutions streamlined the process, and sustainability was prioritised, with buildings selected based on high ESG ratings and green lease structures.

Colliers Project Leaders for Central Coast Leagues Club Redevelopment

Colliers Project Leaders were appointed by Central Coast Leagues Club (CCLC) to lead, project manage and deliver their internal redevelopment to modernise the existing Club, providing the local community with improvements to food, beverage and entertainment offerings on the Central Coast of NSW. The works revitalised and reinvented the Club, creating a new dining, sports bar, café and entertainment area.

The works were undertaken whilst the Club was operating and involved significant structural, internal and façade upgrades to the existing building. The works were successfully managed by Colliers, designed by Altis Architects and constructed by Belmadar Pty Ltd.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Building Consultancy Team include a wide range of specialists that address critical building aspects associated with condition, compliance, cost, function and risk. We were commissioned to assess the condition of a large community portfolio within a condensed timeframe and covering a detailed scope. In order to meet the brief, we drew upon local and national staff as well as specialised sub consultants in order to achieve a successful outcome, exceeding client expectations.

A customer centric team working collaboratively to provide an engaging & sustainable vertical community for the building occupants is at the core of One Farrer Property Management Team.

They pride themselves on being a professional team that builds strong & supportive relationships with their customers. This is reflected in the team’s outstanding NPS results where customers specifically highlighted their responsiveness & professionalism.

The building’s portal has successfully engaged more than half the building’s occupants, helping them access all the amenities One Farrer offers. The team has also worked with customers to enhance sustainability of the precinct, creating a positive and more sustainable workplace.

Australian Real Asset Review

The team produces its flagship publication every quarter - The Australian Real Estate Quarterly Review. The purpose of the publication is to inform investors of trends and current issues that affect their investments.

In recent years the team has faced a major challenge as the organization has expanded. The Research team has successfully broadened its focus and that of the publication to include healthcare and other alternative sectors as well as infrastructure. The publication is now named the Australian Real Asset Review.

Our journey began with our inaugural engagement in this emerging sector, where a Government Body entrusted EY to deliver a research paper revealing the rationale behind BtR and its potential to address the pressing need for affordable housing.

Since then our team has dedicated considerable time and effort to better understand the fundamental drivers of this emerging asset class. The EY Team proudly stands as the top advisors in Australia for BtR initiatives.

Grosvenor Place is a highly celebrated landmark building in Sydney’s CBD. Designed with one eye on the future in 1988 by Harry Seidler OAM, the tower has always been a hub of culture.

The epitome of culture at work, the primary objective of Grosvenor Place is to elevate everyone’s day — in and around the building — with unique experiences and spaces to inspire.

Recognising the challenges of encouraging the community to return to working from the office, the Grosvenor Place management team developed a market leading community engagement program resulting in increased occupancy and returning a 92% satisfaction score.

JLL - 101 Ground Floor Evolution Team

The remarkable Ground Floor Evolution project at 101 Collins St, managed and delivered by JLL, brings a transformative experience to the building entrance while preserving the iconic architectural elements integral to Melbourne’s diverse urban fabric.

Headed by JLL PDS, the project successfully collaborated with AXA, building management, and tenants. The team’s dedication, clear guidance, and effective communication facilitated a seamless construction process, minimizing disruptions for occupants.

The resulting changes, including an architectural façade entry, sculptures, and a serene lobby, have garnered overwhelmingly positive feedback, securing 101 Collins St’s position as the leading premium commercial office building for years to come.

The Australian Strategic Consulting national team works across all elements of JLL and provides advisory services to clients from various industries. This includes incorporating research, advice and real time data, in specific asset classes, to enable clients to make effective and viable business decisions with their real estate.

We are not only committed to achieving outstanding financial outcomes for our clients and importantly also maximising social outcomes. This is exemplified by our development advisory projects in collaboration with The Salvation Army. The advisory work for TSA included applied research, feasibility advice and development partner procurement services.

Establishing Concrete Carbon Limits

The Laing O’Rourke nominated team collaborated to set the company’s carbon limits for concrete. Concrete is a high-carbon material and is widely used in construction. As such, it represents one of the biggest levers for the company to reduce its emissions and accelerate its net zero journey.

The initiative describes two types of limits: a maximum tolerance of emissions for all procured concrete and a low-carbon concrete definition for projects to set their own targets against. The organisation will now estimate, design, plan construction, and purchase concrete that adheres to these new standards.

A state-of-the-art vaccine manufacturing facility, of national significance and important to Australia’s ability to be self-sufficient in manufacturing vaccines. Project Cost Management Group (PCMG) is a dynamic firm with experience in Project Cost Management dedicated to providing accurate and timely cost advice to successfully manage project capital and maintenance expenditure.

We provide advice to clients in both the private and public sector, ranging from strategic advice in business case preparation, costing planning services, project delivery and procurement, and supporting cost information for building audits, due diligence and the whole of life analysis.

PCMG played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of a statewide rollout program for the Victoria Police, aimed at safeguarding all frontline officers and maintaining community safety. Their development of a Summary Tool designed to capture bulk variables and risks across all regional stations in Victoria, was instrumental in overcoming this challenge.

The Footprint Company (TFC) showcases its mission to enable the property sector to action their net zero goals through Grosvenor Place’s Adaptive Tenancy Reuse project. TFC assessed and quantified the upfront carbon and waste benefits of an adaptive reuse strategy, applying RICS’ ICMS-3, WLCA, and reporting standards.

They demonstrated a 24% reduction against industry business-as-usual and identified further emissions mitigation of 16%. The results and carbon performance brief went beyond the Grosvenor’s expectations and now guides future tenancy refits for carbon mitigation. The team collaborated to share their learnings with RICS members in a formal CPD seminar, elevating the industry.

BHP’s New Office Fit-Out within Brookfield Tower One is the largest project by BHP’s Property & Workplace team in Australia and is set to achieve a 6-star Greenstar rating. Turner & Townsend’s project management team has been instrumental to the ongoing fit-out of 23 of the iconic 45-storey building, covering 31,000 square metres of tenancy.

Turner & Townsend’s successful work on this project to date stems from the exemplary knowledge and expertise of the project team, which combines decades of experience over a breadth of disciplines, including architecture and estimation, allowing an intimate understanding to provide trustworthy advice.
