You need this licence to produce an RICS Home Survey Report Level 1, 2 or 3.
Once you have your licence number, you will be able to produce RICS regulated reports using RICS ProForms or from chosen organisations who are permitted to sell RICS templates.
Respected by buyers, sellers and property professionals, RICS home survey reports are used on a range of homes, from brand new apartments to older houses. A licence helps you stay prepared and offer your customers the right survey for their needs.

What is it used for?
- It provides a concise description of the property clearly showing what aspects of the property may need attention.

Eligibility
To deliver the RICS Home Survey Level 1, you must be an AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS member of RICS, with the appropriate surveying experience. See the RICS Home Survey Standard for more details.
Since the Level 1 report has no valuation element, you do not need to be a member of the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme. The RICS Home Survey Level 1 does not provide reinstatement costs or additional diagnosis of defects or offer advice for remedying defects.

Eligibility
- To deliver the Home Survey Level 2 (survey and valuation) report you must be an AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS member of RICS, with the appropriate surveying and valuation training and experience

- You must also be a member of the Valuer Registration Scheme
Pricing
What is it used for?
- Comprises a report on the condition of the property.
- Gives an outline of repair options and the likely consequences of inactivity, advice for your legal advisers and details of serious risks and dangerous conditions.
- A Home Survey Level 3 report does not include a market valuation of the property.
