The next edition of our biannual Survey of the Profession has launched and will be open until 13 December.

The Survey provides an opportunity for members to share their thoughts and opinions on our progress and what you would like to see prioritised and delivered through the RICS agenda. Through your feedback you can contribute to our transformation and work for public advantage.

Whatever stage of your career, your voice matters and is a vital catalyst to our service delivery, progression, and success. Your responses will help better shape our organisation and enable us to fulfil our purpose of creating a world class globally recognised professional body that is designed to effect positive change in the built and natural environment.

Your previous feedback has already contributed to additional member-engagement resources across the UK and global markets that deliver increased levels of engagement opportunities and strengthened our service delivery. Between July and September 100 global events took place with 4,416 delegates in attendance. These events include partnership events, invite only, roundtables, market led F2F and webinars.

Through our “Shaping the Future events” we have given members across the UK the opportunity to consider and discuss our plans in more detail with senior leaders shaping the way RICS communicates in ways that add value for members and improve their experience of the institution.

Our entry and assessment review has reported to us, and we are now working to deliver a clearer and more consistent assessment process for APC candidates.

“As a member-led organisation, we want your views on what’s useful and what could be better. Completing this survey helps us understand how we’re performing over time, highlighting the things that deliver value for our members and helping us shape our services for you and do more of what works.”

We aim to provide feedback on the findings in the Quarterly reporting following release of the full report to RICS. For this edition of the survey, the results will appear alongside our Q4 Global Performance Report in January 2025.
