RICS Matrics is our early career community designed to support students, apprentices, trainees and those who are newly qualified (up to 10 years), as they move into the industry. It gives the community a platform to influence the profession, as well as an opportunity to network and gain support as they go through the assessment.

The network, made up of local committees offer peer support groups, mentoring, free online Continuous Personal Development (CPD) opportunities, networking and social events, all designed to develop the leaders of tomorrow. There is something for everyone in RICS Matrics. You may simply want to come along and meet some of your fellow surveyors, maybe attend one or two CPD seminars, network at one our inter-professional events or seek some support through your assessment. The continued success of RICS Matrics relies on new members getting involved, attending events and sharing their views.

Chloé Rayssac, MRICS

Chartered Surveyor, Bazimo

Chloé RAYSSAC qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2018. Chloé is a graduate of an engineering school and has a master's degree in real estate and urban planning at ESSEC Business School. After spending several years working in asset and property management, she created her own company Bazimo. Bazimo is a French Proptech which focuses on developing a software for commercial real estate. Chloé is grateful to have the honour of currently serving as RICS France Matrics Chair supported by the talented RICS France Matrics Board and RICS Staff Team. The board organizes events to create links between MATRICS such as afterwork, conferences, market points, building visits, etc.

Adrien Berenger, MRICS

Head of Asset Management, La Française

Adrien Berenger qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019. Adrien joined La Française Real Estate Managers in 2021. He is deputy head of asset management for institutional investors with a focus on value add and repositioning operations. Adrien previously worked for Union Investment Real Estate where he started as Junior Asset Manager. He later became Senior Asset Manager and then local Director in Belgium where he spent 2 years and Director in France when he came back. At Union Investment, Adrien was responsible for redevelopment projects across the French portfolio. Adrien graduated from ESSEC business school with a Master in Real Estate Management

Alexandre Henriot has 10 years of experience in the property industry, having worked at BNP Paribas Real Estate before moving on to a French investment fund. With a strong background in acquisitions, lettings, and valuation, Alexandre has honed his skills in project management and transactions helping him excel in his current role. Alexandre is always seeking ways to further develop his skills and knowledge in the field. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring students in the investment field and is passionate about promoting the growth and respect of the profession globally.

Corentin de Richoufftz, MRICS

Chartered Surveyor, Cushman & Wakefield

Corentin de Richoufftz qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2018. Corentin holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Law. He joined CBRE in 2012 and worked there as a commercial real estate broker for 10 years. In 2022, he joined the Capital Markets team at Cushman & Wakefield. At the same time, Corentin joined the RICS Matrics France Board, composed of 6 people, and supported by the RICS France Bureau and the RICS staff team. The RICS Matrics Board organizes many events to create links between MATRICS members and promote RICS in France. Afterworks, conferences, market points, building visits, etc. The RICS Matrics Board draws up a roadmap each year and communicates on social networks to bring as many members as possible to these events.

Gautier Hakoua, MRICS

Chartered Surveyor, SNCF

Gautier HAKOUA qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2020. Gautier joined the SNCF Group’s Real Estate Division in 2021, where he is responsible for monitoring and steering the inception phase of strategic development on owned sites. As a graduate from the French Engineer School of Land-surveying and Topography (ESGT, Le Mans), Gautier spent the first part of his career working for various surveying firms, where he had the opportunity to assist various real estate entities (Real Estate Developers, Public Development establishments, local authorities) in the monitoring of their operations. In the second part of his career, Gautier worked at Vallée Sud-Grand Paris, a Territorial Public Establishment of the Greater Paris Region, as Head of the service in charge of land and real estate acquisitions. Gautier is also a graduate from ICH Paris, the Institute of Law and Economics applied to Real Estate, and registered at the Order of Land-surveyors Experts in France.

Tatiana Laurent

Head of the Advisory division, CBRE

Tatiana graduated with a Master 2 in Real Estate Law and a Master in Real Estate Management from ESSEC, Tatiana began her career as a lawyer at the Mutuelle des Architectes Français. She then joined CBRE Valuation & Advisory in 2018 as a real estate expert and is now Head of the Advisory division. Tatiana has been a member of RICS since November 2021 and joined the RICS Matrics France office in May 2023.

Harvinder Flora, MRICS

Senior Building Surveyor & Project Manager, CSQ

Harvinder studied BSc Project Management (Construction) at Leeds Beckett, and a Masters (MSc) in Building Surveying at Nottingham Trent University. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2021 and moved to UAE to join Carter Stephenson Quinn in 2023 after working at firms such as Watts and Mace in the north of the UK. Harvinder has a background in project management, technical due diligence, landlord and tenant, development monitoring, retail, local authority and central government projects. Since relocating, he has worked on data centres and advised on a number of high-profile transactions in the middle east. Since gaining Chartership, he has been readily mentoring APC candidates, provided feedback on submissions and given mock assessments.

Marina Petrova, MRICS

Marina Petrova has over 10 years of experience in property advisory. With her career beginning in state valuer`s certification in Bulgaria, becoming a Chartered Valuation Surveyor in 2018. She has an extensive background, being mentored in RICS regulated companies and by qualified members. Prior to her current occupation as Head of Commercial Assets Valuation in UAE, she worked in Eurobank and institutional asset management divisions. She was part of a teams who led projects in risk management, portfolio assessment and acquisitions, and the integration of PropTech within real estate, leveraging her extensive corporate expertise to enhance valuation consulting services in the UAE. Marina has developed a diverse skill set encompassing technical, financial, and reporting expertise, along with a strong grasp of legal aspects and in-depth knowledge of valuation process management. Marina has initiated collateral valuation procedure establishment in Piraeus Bank & Eurobank international divisions, managed projects consisting of asset quality reviews. She took part in mergers and acquisitions due diligence, international asset portfolios rating and evaluations. Since 2024, Marina has been a member of Emirates Green Building Council.

Ben McGarrity

Project Manager, AtkinsRéalis

Ben started his career, pre-degree, as a project manager placement student with Gardiner & Theobald and post-degree was a qualified Civil Engineer (BEng (Hons)) based in central Scotland and had a particular focus on railways, bridges and highways in both Scotland and England working with Costain. Following this, Ben was offered an opportunity to utilise his Civil Engineering / Construction background and continue his career as a Project Manager in construction with AtkinsRealis in 2021 - based in Glasgow, UK. Ben has been an ambassador for early-careers and supporting the NextGen since joining AtkinsRealis. Ben's passion for this, progressed when he joined the RICS Glasgow Matrics, UK, and had a focus on Construction Events / Networking and presenting to Universities, Colleges and Schools. Throughout Ben's career, his objective was to achieve international experience and further broaden his construction experience. In 2024, Ben internally transferred to the AtkinsRealis Dubai, UAE, Office to resume his position as Project Manager and has obtained the following UAE experience: • Hospitality (Hotel Development); • New Housing / Property Development (Private Villas / Apartments); • Education (Campus Development); • IT Sector (Data Centres); Ben also had a goal to continue his Matrics Committee role and share his 2-year worth of Matrics experience in Dubai, UAE and it was at this point it was apparent that this did not yet exist across the UAE. This presented an obvious opportunity for Ben to be a part of the development of a RICS Dubai Matrics Committee as he continues to work towards his MRICS Chartership via the preliminary route.

Lucy Rose, MRICS

Senior Project Manager, Matthews Southwest

Lucy Rose qualified as a Chartered Project Manager in 2021 following the completion of her master’s in Real Estate at Kingston University. Lucy relocated to Dubai in 2023 following 7 years working in London. Lucy is currently a Senior Project Manager at Matthews Southwest and is delivering unique and complex projects across the UAE. In London, Lucy delivered a range of projects in Central London from large master plans to unique prime residences. Lucy is honored to have the opportunity to join the UAE MATRICS committee and is excited to build her network and the RICS brand in the UAE through the committee.

Tushar Nagare

Cost Manager, Turner and Townsend

Tushar Nagare is a qualified Civil Engineer and has MBA degree from RICS School of Built Environment. Tushar began his career as Graduate Engineer at Al Naboodah Construction Group – Dubai in 2017 and then joined Faithful+Gould (now ‘AtkinsRealis’). With a strong background in project and commercial management, Tushar has honed his skills in contracts administration helping him excel in his current role as Cost Manager with Turner and Townsend. Tushar boasts a successful project delivery record with renowned private and public sector Clients in the region, such as Dubai Airports, Expo 2020, DEWA, Emaar, Dubai Holdings etc. Tushar is always seeking ways to further develop his skills and knowledge in the field and often enjoys mentoring students globally about the growth and respect of the profession. Through RICS Matrics Dubai, Tushar looks forward to influencing the profession, network and gain support for his chartership journey.
