Associate Member (AssocRICS)

Chartered Member (MRICS)

APC with 24 months Structured Training	RICS-accredited degree (completed or in-progress)	To be in relevant employment
APC with 12 months Structured Training	RICS-accredited degree (completed or in-progress)	5+ years
APC without Structured Training	RICS-accredited degree (completed or in-progress)	10+ years
APC with Preliminary Review	Any bachelors degree or membership of a RICS approved professional body	5+ years
Chartered Surveying Apprenticeship	Enrolled on RICS-accredited degree	To be employed on a degree apprenticeship scheme
Senior Professional Assessment	None	10+ years (5+ years for a post graduate degree) & to be able to demonstrate the advanced responsibilities as a senior leader
Specialist Assessment	None	10+ years (5+ years for a postgraduate degree) & to be able to demonstrate the advanced responsibilities for delivering specialist services
Academic Assessment	Relevant degree	3+ years relevant experience working in academia

Candidate selects their assessment route, pathway and register an account providing their counsellor's details to enrol.
Candidate choose their competencies with their Counsellor's guidance.
Candidate and their Counsellor's plan how they will demonstrate the competencies.
Includes employment history, case study, competency statements and CPD record.
Successfully complete the RICS Professionalism Module.
Associate candidates submit a written assessment. Chartered candidates provide a written submission and undertakes a 60 minute professional interview.
